December 2015 Ipsy & Birchbox

First Up: December 2015 Ipsy Bag!

December's bag was called "From Ipsy With Love" and it was seriously adorable! The bag itself felt more quality than several bags that I've gotten from the subscription service within the last year, so I am very happy with that!

Formula X: Revved Up

Fun side note: I wasn't feeling the Julie G nail polish shade that I received, so I traded with a fellow Ipster for the pictured Formula X in Revved Up! I love it...not great wear without a base or top coat, but a gorgeous glittery color.

What I am most excited to try:
-Tarte Finishing Powder

Pacifica lip color: Nudie Red

Other thoughts:
It seems that whenever Ipsy sends out a lip product, it's in a very neutral, universal color.  That is both good and bad.

The good:
-Ipsters can usually trade with each other and still end up with a flattering shade
-The color is easy to pull off

The bad:
-I'm ending up with a lot of the same sort of color...I may never make it through all of these peachy, mild, mauve-y shades

 Last But Not Least: December 2015 Birchbox

So far, I've only tried the Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle and I've loved it! It smells great, sweet and very vanilla-y.
