Ever since I saw a review of the ColourPop Fall 2016 Collection, I've had one thing on my beauty-obsessed mind! Their beautiful liquid lipstick in the color Hutch 😍

Still trying to figure that out! In the meantime, I decided to try to find a dupe at the drugstore👍

I found a couple: Maybelline lipstick in 790 Midnight Merlot and Rimmel lipstick in 820 Oh-So Wicked.

Newest Obsession: Setting Sprays

Recently I've been using powder foundation (because it's so much easier than using liquid), but I've found that the staying power lacks unless I use a setting spray. 

For weeks, I had been using UD's crowd fave All Nighter, which I love...but I wanted to see what else was out there. 

So here are my newbies! 

Sephora Beauty Amplifier and L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray&Set. 

Liking the Sephora best so far, but I only bought it an hour ago, so who knows!

Newest Basic Quest: Sex and the City

Now that I have HBO Now, I'm on a quest to watch every episode of Sex and the City. Ever since I can remember, I've wanted to be a part of the big girl's club--the one who distinctly knows whether they're a Samantha, Miranda, Carrie, or Charlotte. 

I've been enticed by the hype, watched the movies, and now I'm ready to take the next step.

Sex and the City, here I am! Let's get the party started. (I'm two episodes deep and loving it so far!)

A Few of My Favorite Things #beautyessentials

These are a few of my favorite thiiiiings!

Everyone has essentials, whether it's a hairspray or a favorite lip balm, it's so nice to have a consistently good product that can be counted on to spruce up a look.

Face: Let's start with cleaning things up and getting smooth.  Pictured here are Up & Up's version of Simple Cleansing Towelettes, Neutrogena's Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 15, and Yes to Cucumber's Eye Makeup Cleaning Wipes.  Ahh freshness.  

Tools: I love any tools made by Real Techniques! Another must have is a brow-grooming utensil. Pictured here are the Real Techniques blush brush and a Rite Aid Beauty eyebrow tool.

Hair: These are my holy grail hair items.  I literally use them after each time I wash my hair. Pictured here are the Goody Quikstyle brush and Redken's Anti-Snap.
