Urban Decay Matte Revolution Bad Blood Lipstick Review

I recently saw the fabulous Taylor Swift in concert while she was in Massachusetts for her 1989 world tour and I decided that I needed to look #superfleek for the event! When I heard that there was a lipstick color with the same name as a Taylor song, I was incredibly pumped.  Nothing could stop me from getting my hands on it, not even a $22 price tag!

So let's talk about Urban Decay's Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bad Blood!

Color: Gorgeous, Bright, Pigmented, Blood Red, Blue Red

Application: Kind of difficult without a lip brush. Is it crazy to ask for a product you don’t need extra tools to use?

Wear: It’s entirely dependent on whether you are eating and/or drinking.  I had Bad Blood on my lips for 3 hours and it wore beautifully, but then I ate a chicken wrap and drank water, which caused the product to disappear from most of the surface of my lips.  (The photo is me prior to having food and water.)

Would I repurchase?: Probably not, unless Urban Decay comes out with another cleverly named lipstick that coincides with another upcoming concert.  That’s not to say I don’t like the product, it’s just that there are plenty of less expensive alternatives worth trying.

Notes: Wore in conjunction with Urban Decay’s Ozone lip liner, a product that I received a sample of in my Ipsy bag.  It really helped to move the product around and clean up mistakes, as the Ozone liner is quite balm-like.
